
INNANOMAT is the acronym that identifies the research group‘Materiales y Nanotecnología para la Innovación’ (Materials and Nanotechnology for Innovation) of the University of Cadiz. The group is registered in the Andalusian Plan for Research, Development and Innovation (PAIDI) of the Junta de Andalucía with the code TEP946, in the area of Production Technologies.
Our main mission is to generate knowledge in the field of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanotechnology and Additive Manufacturing.
We develop materials and prototypes using various manufacturing technologies, with special emphasis on additive manufacturing. We have extensive experience in nanocharacterization methodologies to contribute to the development of functional materials.
We transfer this knowledge to society through our offer of Approved Technical Services and the creation of Technology-Based Companies.
The evaluation that the Junta de Andalucía has carried out on the activity of the INNANOMAT research group has been excellent. The evaluation highlighted the group's well-established, broad and extensive track record, recognized nationally and internationally, as well as its high productivity and impact.
