INNANOMAT are the initials that identify the research group ‘Materials and Nanotechnology for Innovation’ of the University of Cádiz. The group is registered in the Andalusian Plan for Research, Development and Innovation (PAIDI) of the Junta de Andalucía with the code TEP946, in the area of Production Technologies. Currently, the R + D + i activity of our research group focuses on two lines of work:
1. We investigate the relationship between the nanostructure of materials, their processing and their function, to produce new materials and innovative products with market potential.
2. We develop materials for additive manufacturing (3D printing). We pay special attention to the contribution of Nanotechnology to improve these materials and to innovate in the field of 3D and 4D printing.
Our main task is to create wealth from the generation of knowledge in the field of Science and Engineering of Materials, Nanotechnology and Additive Manufacturing. This knowledge is transferred to the Company through our offer of Approved Technical Services and the creation of Technological Base Companies.
The evaluation that the Junta de Andalucía has carried out on the activity of the INNANOMAT research group in the period 2013-2016 has been excellent. The evaluation highlighted the very consolidated, extensive and extensive trajectory recognized at the national and international level of the group, as well as its high productivity and impact.
